A husband with lots of SkyMiles is good for something!

Maui-2011--Emma originally wrote 2010 and had to draw over it. :)

Once again we cashed in miles (a traveling husband is good for something--enough miles for all six with more to spare!), and jetted to Maui for Spring Break.   We found a great condo at Honua Kai to call home for a week.  A week with nothing but beach, pool, hikes, and sunshine was good for our souls.  Our daily schedule was something like this:

6:00 a.m.-Wake Up to the Hawaiian Sunrise.  Yes...6 is early for vacation, but it's Hawaii.  There is a four hour time difference.  It's hard to sleep in!

7:00 a.m.-Breakfast

8:00 a.m.-12 p.m.-Beach Time.  Waves, Snorkeling, Sandcastles.

Caroline--just so happy to be here!

12-2 p.m.- Lunch

2-6 p.m.-Pool.  Waterslides, Lazy River, Lounge Chairs

First snow cones of the season!

6-Bedtime-Dinner back at the Condo and maybe a movie...if we could keep our eyes open past 8:30...still never really got over the time difference.

We threw in an occasional hike, road trip to another part of the island, or adventure, but this was pretty much our daily schedule.  My idea of a fantastic family vacation!
