A Moment in Time

On Monday evening I took the kids to a concert (Peter Breinholt...kind of like the local version of James Taylor) in the park. Most of my kids ran around the rotunda with friends collecting honeysuckle. Josh, who had a minor scooter accident earlier in the day, snuggled on my lap. Periodically the children would return to the home blanket to dance upon the grassy stage. As I sat there listening to the mellow music I couldn't help but feeling that I just love the place I live, and I love the freedom of summertime. It was perfect in every way-- except for the fact that Matt was out of town. It was a lovely way to spend a summer evening.

K. and Emma--have I mentioned Emma doesn't like having her pic taken?

Josh taking pics of me...can you tell how excited I am...and the fact the I could use a little Botox?
